Typographic Illustrations
Created typographic illustrations with Illustrator.
I took photographs of my dog and a car and recreated it using letters, numbers, and some symbols from a font I chose. I used News Gothic for the car and Adobe Caslon Pro for my dog. The objective was to create a realistic representation of the photograph without distorting any of the characters used. Another objective was to use a variety of letters and sizes to display the font used in each piece. The typographic anatomy is also labeled on each composition.
